REDEFINING MOVEMENT: A 5-day experience

Let's explore how exercise can support us through all the seasons of pregnancy, postpartum, loss and beyond.

A 5-day experience that will encourage you to redefine what exercise can look like for you, right now!

WHEW! I get it! Being pregnant, recovering from birth and shifting into motherhood and parenting requires so much energy, time, and sometimes a little piece of yourself!

Maybe the idea of moving your body is what you want and need, but you just don't know where or how to begin? Or whether it's even worth it while trying to navigate the lack of sleep, the piles of laundry or dirty dishes?

AND, here's your reminder that amidst all of this, the chaos, the lack of sleep, the constant needing of you, that YOU still matter and your needs are just as important!

I'm going to share some effective but simple tips on how to incorporate movement right NOW, in the hustle and bustle of motherhood and parenting! I want to help you gain momentum in your movement routine, give you gentle accountability, and leave you with tools to help you continue on amidst the chaos.

And NO, I'm not saying that you'll be excited to workout most of the time. The truth is sometimes we just have to do it so that we reap the benefits and carry on with our best selves.  The goal is for you to move your body in a way that leaves you feeling capable and strong so that you can carry on your journey while still honouring your needs.

If you sign-up for this FREE event, you'll get:

  • Daily email covering a specific topic and your movement goal for the day.

  • One live online group workout coached by Martine, via Zoom (30 minutes or less)

  • TWO at-home workouts delivered via PDF

  • Tips on how to make your workouts simple and effective

  • Private Facebook group to connect and answer questions

Meet Martine Chiasson, your prenatal & postnatal fitness coach

I'm a certified kinesiologist with a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology. I specialize in prenatal and postnatal fitness, with a passion in supporting pregnant and postpartum people on their journeys to parenthood.

I currently work with pregnant and postpartum folks in-person and online, guiding them to move their bodies in pregnancy, postpartum, loss & beyond, through group classes, 1-1 training, and Stronger Now, my online monthly exercise coaching program.

I'm also a mom of 3, so yes, I can relate to the daily demands that pregnancy and parenthood asks of you, while trying to keep it together. That's why I believe exercise can be a tool to honour ourselves not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too!

  • That's it!

  • Can I join even if I’m still in my first trimester?
Absolutely! Unless there is a medical reason or contraindication, this class is appropriate for all trimesters! Women are usually fatigued or nauseous in the first trimester, but studies show that exercise can alleviate these symptoms, BONUS!
  • Is this safe for 3rd trimester?
Unless there is a medical contraindication, these workouts are absolutely appropriate for the third trimester. We actually encourage you to be active near the end of pregnancy as it can alleviate some discomfort and achiness often felt by women.
  • What type of exercises will be included in this class?
Great question! This class is meant to strengthen your whole body, therefore you can expect all types of different exercises such as: body weight, resistance banded exercises, weighted exercises as well as some relaxation poses and mobility work. This class is NOT a HIIT class nor does it have any impact exercises.
  • How long are the workouts?
Each session will be 60 minutes each. The actual time spent moving will range from 30-40 minutes total.
  • I haven’t done exercises in years, can I still join?"
YES! As mentionned above, these exercises are appropriate for all levels of fitness. We can modify exercises to meet you where you feel comfortable. The goal of this class is to strengthen your whole body, boost your mood and energy, and have you feeling confidant going into birth.
  • Is this refundable?
This is non-refundable. I am confident that you will love this class, however, pregnancy is a journey, and we don't control all the variables of our journey. If something should happen, or you are no longer medically cleared to exercise (i.e bleeding, bed rest, loss of amniotic fluid, etc), or you feel uncomfortable moving forward with the class, please send me an email HERE and we can further discuss :)
