This is a 5-week postnatal strength program where we throw out the diet talk, embrace ALL bodies, and focus on one thing: helping you feel confident, powerful, and ready to tackle whatever chaos motherhood throws your way.

Because here's the thing—you deserve to feel GOOD in your body. Not smaller. Not "pre-baby." Just strong, capable, and like the absolute powerhouse you are.

THIS POSTNATAL CLASS IS FOR YOU IF:​

  • You've given birth (inclusive to: pregnancy and infant loss mothers, to surrogates, to people who've given birth months or years ago)
  • You want to gain knowledge on your core and pelvic floor
  • You have Diastasis Recti and don't know what exercises you should do
  • You are experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, etc. and would love to learn how to manage symptoms
  • You are new to exercise or want to get back into it
  • You are looking to connect with other folks
  • You are looking for guidance and answers to your questions regarding exercise in postpartum

Meet Your Coach

Martine Chiasson

I'm Martine, your prenatal and postnatal fitness coach!

​

I'm a certified kinesiologist specialized in prenatal and postnatal fitness, with a passion in supporting pregnant and postpartum people on their journeys to parenthood. I'm also a mother to 3 children under the age of 10.

​

I believe exercise to not only be a physical movement, but an emotional one as well, meant to help us connect with ourselves and our community. Every person's journey is unique and different and the services offered reflect these exact needs.

​

I help folks of all fitness levels continue to move in ways that feel good during pregnancy in order to prepare for birth. During the postpartum journey and motherhood, I guide and support the return to exercise while honouring all physical, mental and emotional aspects. I can help you manage pelvic floor symptoms present during exercise, strengthen your core and pelvic floor, and get you on your way to achieving your goals, whatever these may be in this season of life.

​

I also have a passion for advocating access to the education and resources we deserve in order for us to make educated choices and feel empowered as women and mothers.

​

Breaking it down.

  • 1x 60-minute in-person classes/week (5 classes total) at The Mama Movement Studio

  • Wednesdays 10:30AM (November 19th to December 17th)

  • Progressively designed strength workouts using dumbbells, barbells, and bands—intentional programming with expert coaching

  • Small group classes so you get personalized support and guidance

  • Core & pelvic floor education, symptom management strategies, and all the strength-building tools you need

  • A community of fellow parents who just get it

  • Baby-friendly space (we've got a baby room with a crib, rocking chair, and sound machine)
