About the Event
This is an 8-week, 60-minute stroller workout class designed for women of all stages of postpartum and for all fitness levels. Summer is finally here and we should enjoy it as much as possible, so why not bring our workouts outside? This class will show you how to be innovative when it comes to using your stroller and your surroundings to stay active in the great outdoors.
To be determined, but the first class we'll meet at the studio :) We'll find a park that's accessible for everyone so that we can use our strollers, some equipment, and our surroundings to create a fun and effective workout.
What you can expect?
This class focuses on gaining strength while keeping our core and pelvic floor in mind all while enjoying the beautiful summer weather. You can expect to move your body in different ways, using the stroller, our body weight, and some equipment we bring along. The exercises will change every class according to the group's needs, goals and preferences. Every exercise chosen is able to regress or progress therefore it's suitable for all fitness levels. We are also trained in managing pelvic floor symptoms such as prolapse, incontinence, and pelvic girdle pain, and always program exercises according to symptoms and comfort levels.
What you need to bring?
- a stroller is suggested, but if you happen to ride solo, that's okay as well.
- sunscreen (for you and babe)
- large bottle of water (for you and babe)
- bug spray (for you and babe)
- toys and snacks for babe
- after workout snack for Mama
- dress according to weather
